I am Melody, 35 years old.
I am now looking for a new employer because my employer wants to hire a Indonesian helper who can communicate with the elderly.
I am from Northern Luzon in the Philippines, Kalinga Province. My hometown is known as the Landlocked province. I have one daughter and she is living with my husband in my hometown. My purpose of working here is to provide for my family in the Philippines. I want to give good education opportunities for my daughter.
My current employer is a Hong Kong family of 3, the parents and 5 year's old daughter. I wake up at 7:30am to prepare breakfast for the family and to send her to school. After that, I do groceries and marketing while on the way home, my employer prefer fresh groceries everyday. When I reach home, I tidy up and clean the house, prepare lunch box for the child then pick her up from school. I bring her to extra curricular activities and interest class.
After her lessons we go back and prepare for dinner. I usually cook 1 soup and 3 dishes (veg. meat and fish). After dinner, I clean up the kitchen and the rest of the house. I usually go to bed at 9pm after I put her to sleep.
I also have previous experience with American and Australian families.
I am looking for an employer with a newborn baby or toddlers since I love taking care of them. My strong point as a helper is I can communicate well with them and can manage my time well. I am also willing to learn more as per my employer's request.
