Hi, I’m Zoila, 30 years old, single, and currently working as a domestic helper here in Hong Kong.
I have several years of experience working in different fields, and I consider myself a hardworking, responsible, resourceful, and skilled person. In my current job, my main responsibilities include cleaning, cooking, ironing, grocery and wet-market shopping, and accompanying my employer to hospital appointments when needed.
Before my current employer, I worked for their son’s family, where I took care of their twins. My responsibilities included childcare, cleaning, cooking, marketing, ironing, taking the children to school, tutoring, and playing with them. After my contract with them, they decided to transfer me to their mother, who is my current employer, so I could continue taking care of the family.
I am now looking for a new employer because I would like to have better opportunities and a higher salary so I can save for my future. I am single and I also help support my parents in the Philippines, which motivates me to work hard and always give my best in every job I do.
Aside from my experience as a domestic helper, I have many other skills. I hold a Professional Driver’s License in the Philippines. I also worked as a professional security officer at SM Supermalls in 2019. I have experience working in a factory in Taiwan, where my main duties were embroidery and sewing.
I am also experienced in welding, painting, handyman work, making cabinets, and gardening. I enjoy learning new things and I am always willing to use my skills whenever they are needed. I can also sing, which is something I enjoy doing in my free time.
I am hardworking and can work without constant supervision. Because of my factory experience, I am used to working efficiently and quickly while still making sure that my work is done properly. I am also very resourceful and careful with money. When shopping at supermarkets or wet markets, I know how to choose fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat while looking for good prices and avoiding unnecessary expenses.
I am passionate about my work and I always try to treat every employer and every job with respect and dedication. I believe that being trustworthy, responsible, and willing to learn are very important qualities in a good worker.
I am looking for an employer who will appreciate not only my experience as a domestic helper but also the different skills and talents that I can offer.
